Description of Visits

Initial Visit (2 hours)

The first hour covers your entire medical history. Please bring (or have sent to the office):

The second hour is a physical assessment from the Chinese/Japanese medicine perspective and an acupuncture treatment. Sometimes there’s a good amount to talk about and I don’t always get to the acupuncture. Some folks just don’t want acupuncture — in those cases, I use the time for evaluation and further understanding.

Second Visit (1½–2 hours)

The second visit is 1½ to 2 hours: ½–1 hour for naturopathic medicine and an hour for an acupuncture treatment. During this visit, I complete any history or intake from the first visit and discuss treatment recommendations. I often take time between the first and second visit to think about what you’ve shared and present recommendations at the second visit. Acupuncture is typically included if desired.

Subsequent Visits (30, 60, or 90 minutes)

Subsequent visits are either 30, 60, or 90 minutes depending on what is being covered. Acupuncture treatments are scheduled for one hour. A 30–60 minute naturopathic consult can be added on, or scheduled separately.

Missed Appointments

Dr. Davis requests at least 24 hours cancellation notice (except for inclement weather in WI). Payment for that time is appreciated if sufficient notice cannot be given.
